Humanitarian aid

Humanitarian organizations use the SHERP UTV to transport food aid. The UTV has proven itself in off-road conditions and can carry up to 2,640 pounds of food.

The World Food Programme (WFP of United Nations)

The World Food Program is a world-class humanitarian organization that uses food aid to promote economic and social development in developing countries.
WFP won the “Best Transport Achievement of 2019” award for the SHERP project and was also awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2020.
WFP had previously used aircraft to transport food to inaccessible areas, and with SHERP they were able to reduce their transportation costs as well as increase the efficiency of overland transportation.
