SHERP Firefighting UTV is a versatile vehicle for fighting fires in most inaccessible terrains. It has high off-road capability and autonomy, the UTV’s tires are equipped with a cooling system, allowing to drive over burning areas. The vehicle is capable of carrying up to 660 gallons of water and pumping water from any open source available. Additional fuel tanks are placed in each wheel disk, increasing the total fuel capacity to 117 gal.
The UTV can be operated in the autonomous mode for 88 hours and operated non-stop for 19 hours on a single tank of fuel.

High load capacity

The total load capacity is up to 5 950 lb, with UTV capable of carrying up to 2 645 lb, and the trailer allowing to transport up to 3300 lb by land or 1984 lb by water;
Passenger capacity: up to 9 persons (including the driver);
Towing capacity: 5180 lb.

Efficient fire suppression

SHERP Firefighting vehicle has a unique tire cooling system, which protects the tires from possible fire damage and also allows to extinguish smoldering areas by driving over them to prevent re-ignition.

Features and characteristics

Unique ultra-low pressure tires

The tires are connected to each other and can be inflated and deflated at the touch of a button. This unique technology allows SHERP UTV to overcome the most difficult obstacles.
The elasticity of the tires makes them less susceptible to damage, and if a puncture is unavoidable, it can be easily repaired even in the field.

All necessary equipment on board

Additional side boxes were installed to allow storage of all necessary equipment.

Efficient & Eco-Friendly Engine

The SHERP uses the Korean high-tech and environmentally friendly Doosan engine. The engine provides fuel efficiency and high torque.
The SHERP UTV has the lowest ground pressure of all amphibious vehicles and therefore does not damage the ground while riding.
The engine also meets the requirements of Stage V/Tier-4-final emission standards and delivers the power of 55 hp / 41 kW.

Safety & Visibility

The SHERP has ROPS steel rollover protection and a low center of balance, which greatly reduces the risk of rollover.
The utility task vehicles SHERP also have adjustable 2-, 3- and 4-point seat belts, a solid body and multi-functional hatches.

The driver has full visual control of the surroundnings through the large windshield and side windows, as well as the rear view camera.

Efficient water supply system

The SHERP Firefighting UTV can carry up to 660 gal of fluid (up to 264 gal in the vehicle and 396 gal more in the trailer). The firefighting vacuum motor pump allows to pump water out of any open water sources. The vehicle has six fire hoses and two manual fire nozzles with switchable operating modes.
